Use a minimum wall
thickness of at least .069 steel for gate frames construction and
0.49 steel for vertical gate pickets.
Weights are given in lbs per foot.
Most gate frames are made from 1" to 1 1/2" square steel tube.
Most gate pickets are close to 3/4" square.
