Money- The example gates shown below could have used only one Upswung
opener-hinge to clear the driveway and snowfall .

Comment: This solution required two openers and the
gates held well off the ground to clear the driveway when swinging - doesn't
rise above snowfall.
Extra Cost: This installation
required 1 extra opener, gate panel and hinge set over an Upswung installation.

gate opens out to solve the uphill driveway clearance- Visitors must
exercise caution not to get hit with gates.
